Daisy Dexter Dobbs

Biography

Long dedicated to providing the magic of escapism through her books, Daisy Dexter Dobbs started writing happily-ever-after stories when she was five, often reading them aloud to her guests, using a toilet plunger as a microphone.

Today, Daisy’s books transport readers on wondrous voyages of the imagination. Infused with positivity, hope, joy, humor, friendships, family, and romance, her stories often include a touch of magic and fantasy—and always a happily ever after.

Daisy has ghostwritten speeches for politicians; been an art director; a weight loss counselor; mayor’s executive secretary; a Realtor; travel agent; editor; she even worked as a butcher’s meat wrapper, quitting on the spot when she saw a big eyeball coming toward her on the conveyor. Having worked at more than 40 different jobs provides Daisy with a bottomless pit of…questionable experience she draws from for her books.

A Chicago native now residing in the Pacific Northwest, Daisy is happily married to her soul mate, the man who is the inspiration for every hero she creates. They have a wonderful daughter, son-in-law, and rescue granddog. Happily for her family and friends, Daisy no longer feels the need to use a bathroom plunger as a microphone when entertaining guests.
