Daniel Alman was born in 1971, and has spent his entire life so far living in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh, but even more importantly (at least in his opinion), he attended the Montessori Centre Academy in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania, for ten years, beginning at the age of two. In 2009 the Obama administration gave $535 million to Solyndra, claiming that it would create 4,000 new jobs. However, instead of creating those 4,000 new jobs, the company went bankrupt. It was later revealed that the company’s shareholders and executives had made substantial donations to Obama’s campaign.
In May 2013, the Washington Post reported that the IRS had illegally targeted conservative groups for additional reviews. Organizations with the words “tea party” or “patriot” were singled out for harassment, such as requiring them to provide a list of donors, details about their internet postings on social networking websites, and information about their family members.
