I don't want you to flee in horror when I tell you this, but I am a spanko. There, I've said it.

I am one of your mainstream typical spankos - who acquired the fascination at a very early age and was convinced for the longest time that I was the only one in the world. Thank you, internet, for showing me that I have tens of millions like minded, fun seeking, nice to know, fellow travelers.

And a recent survey revealed that 85% of spankos enjoy reading short stories with an element of spanking in them, and nearly 50% have a similar liking for novel length works.

I have spent most of my adult life writing one sort of manuscript or other - and now find I have the opportunity of what I like doing most: writing fiction with a spanking element in it.

Now this might really surprise you: in fiction I am far, far more severe than in real life. In real life I am the most gentlest of souls, even though my fictional protagonists do go at it with a great deal of enthusiastic vigor. That is probably because it is just fantasy: and in fantasy we can live out the darker sides of our imaginations.

Well the dark side peppered with a lot of humor. Spanking is often inherently funny - so we should not hold back in having the occasional chuckle about it.

Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
I have been writing all my adult life - but it is only in the last couple of years that I have had enough time to sit down and actually work hard enough to turn out some novel length works. I am a typical spanko - first acquired the fascination before the age of 10 - thought that I was the only spanko in the whole world - and learned in the internet age I have hundreds of millions of fellow spankos. Which is the main reason all my works have a major spanking element.
What's the story behind your latest book?
"The Gleam in Her Eye" started as a short story that looked at the concept of what would happen if eroticobots (a term I invented for robots engaged in the task of providing erotic entertainment to human partners) gained a fascination is spanking without being programmed for such a liking. It snowballed into a full length book - where a heady combination of sex, sci-fi and spanking is recounted with a huge dose of tongue-in-cheek narrative.
