David Morris


David Z. Morris has written about music and culture for publications including the Japan Times, Maximum Rock n' Roll, Signal to Noise, and Tinymixtapes. His essay "Only What is Dead Can Live Forever: Music From the End of Iowa" was shortlisted for Da Capo press's Best New Music Writing 2010. He has released one album and one DVD with his band Single Indian Tear, as well as a variety of solo albums under a variety of names. Professionally, he currently teaches about media and globalization at the University of South Florida.
