What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
i get to tell the stories I love to read, and to move the world around as I choose. Funny thing: I used to get spanked for telling stories. Now I get paid for it.
What do your fans mean to you?
While I did achieve my MFA from Seton Hill's Writing Popular Fiction program, my relations with the alumni of my genre is less than pleasant. Yes, I am the woman outside the walls and wearing "the scarlet letter," so to speak. As a consequence, my fans give me a sense of validation. I adore every single one of them, however many or few.
