Returned was by far one of the most exciting and un-put-down-able books I have ever read. The gripping storyline creates so many opportunities for laughter, and for tears.
An amazing start to the pendle hill triology :)

A very interesting story based on Greek mythology in modern times. Love the twists between artemis and Daniel and I need another book to learn about aphrodite!

So far, I have read Returned a total of four times, and plan to read it many more as the rest of the books in the Pendle Hill series are released.
For me, the first book in any trilogy has to grip me to the point where I literally cannot put that book down without feeling traumatised. This is exactly what happened when reading Returned. I think every character has been introduced perfectly, and have been written so well that they have become my own friends. And the name choices are perfect!
One thing I really liked about Returned is the fact that the chapters switch between Cora's perspective and Jack's perspective, so the reader can learn about their stories and their backgrounds and how they feel about one another.
I think that Cora is a strong character, and reflects the author very well in the fact that she is so determined and protective over those she loves.
There was never a boring point in this book, as every chapter holds ups and downs, problems, resolutions, arguments, and in some cases, some bad ass fighting.
The cliffhanger ending always leaves me on tender hooks, in tears and going crazy' for more and more. This is the best 'witch' book I have ever read, and this is only the beginning of the series!
Keeley is a very talented writer who knows just how to make the readers scream, cry and laugh.
Because of this, Returned most definitely deserves 5 stars! :)

The second book in the Pendle Hill series is fantastic!
Change begins where Returned left off, resolving a cliffhanger and delving straight into action, emotion and dilemma in the witch world.
This story is beautifully written, with amazing descriptions which bring Millsteeple and it's witch inhabitants to life.
This story has made me laugh and cry even more than the first book, Returned, and yet another cliffhanger leaves me waiting for the next instalment.
Keeley Smith is one of my favourite authors and a very talented writer.

One of the main things I like about Before is the fact that it is set in the past, even before Returned. In Returned, Cora's and Jack's pasts are briefly described, whereas this novella delves into the harsh realities of the Pendle Hill witch trials of 1612.
Cora and Jack have both been through such a lot, resulting in losing the ones they love.
Their love story has been beautifully developed throughout the novella, and many of our favourite 'Returned' characters feature in Before.
Once again, Keeley manages to hook me with her talented writing.
I am looking forward for the rest of the Pendle Hill trilogy :)

It was only right to continue where Before left off, focusing on one of the most powerful, fierce and inspiring characters, Tabitha Preston.
Right from the start of the novella, it is clear that Tabitha will never have a quiet life. She is too powerful to go unnoticed and will stop at nothing to protect her loved ones, her family.
This story really does do Tabitha justice. Through the character, Keeley shows that women can be strong and they can be fighters just like Tabitha, who doesn't need anyone to define who she is. This is truly inspirational, and Tabitha is such an amazing role model for me.
Once again, Keeley Smith has broken me with her writing. I cannot wait for the next book for the sobbing to continue
