Derek E. Miller was inspired to write while being stationed in a remote outpost of Afghanistan. At the time focusing on young adult novels because of his kids, he now continues his bold and dauntless story telling with a new series, An Espresso Short, each containing a story that can be devoured in a single sitting while having a cup of joe.
