Amber Descy

Biography

Amber Descy is a novelist and short-story author of science fiction and philosophical fiction. Amber earned Salutatorian from her BFA program at Full Sail University. She has experience in video game design as well. “A Bag Without Ice,” a short story centered around two sisters and an abusive man, was published in 2020 in Scarlet Leaf Review Magazine. Her flash fiction about a woman battling suicide, “Chestnut Nooses,” was published in 2019 in Down in the Dirt Magazine. Although disabled, Amber is a member of NSCS and has been offered a mentorship at Full Sail. She shares her home in Minnesota with her husband James, and her dog, Spud. Her potato is undoubtedly the head of the household.
