Lee Watt

Biography

Lee Watt began her career as a hairdresser in a small city in Queensland, Australia. The natural progression for someone of ambition in the hairdressing industry led her to establish her first Salon in that same town. This Salon proved to be a success. Ultimately, Lee decided to concentrate more on training, sales and management, allowing her talented pool of stylists to look after the cutting, colouring and other hair treatments.
After owning and managing two other successful salons in Brisbane, Queensland, Lee was appointed Queensland Sales Manager for a major Australian manufacturer of a range of prescription hair care products, eventually spending a year in San Francisco CA in the USA, setting up a hair and scalp clinic and retail outlet for this company.
With the experience gained in hairdressing, and utilising the principles of Client Care expressed in this book, Lee then moved on to women’s fashions. She established a boutique for women’s clothes and shoes in an up-market area of Brisbane, which thrives to this day.
