  • The Short Straw on March 08, 2012

Wonderful short story, one of the funniest page stories I've read in a long time. I hope you make more like these. Now, whenever I walk down my street and I hear one of those little rat-dogs come running to bark at me, I'll think of this story and it may ease the high-pitch yipping just a little.

A wonderfully written story. The author clearly did her research on the topic and was able to go into intricate detail of the thought process of someone who is blind. The ending is very exciting but I believe it falls a bit short. I hope to see a second part to this story or atleast more of it.
  • The Dog Lady on March 11, 2012

I would love to give it a five, but it is a horror story, and it just isn't that scary. But, it was very well written, and it was very creepy to say the least. Now, I'm off to see if I can't meet this dog lady.
  • Dylan's Surprise on June 10, 2012

An amazing story like the original. I expect to read more of Dylan's adventures soon. Poor guy need some love though, I enjoy all of it but I'm a strong believer in rewards. Keep up the good work!
  • Echoes Of War on June 21, 2013

A teasing little short story, which seems to be Ms. Hewson's specialty. It shall be interesting to see how all of these individual story lines meet up, but I trust when the Chronicles are released they will be fantastic works. My only note of critique would be the sense of foreboding or dread is not as tangible as it should be in a story of this nature.
  • Love's Darkest Corners on July 17, 2013

Sick! Twisted! Easily Ms.Hewson's best short story, it was horrible in all the right ways and touching in the rest. The story is unique, and as far as I can tell never been told before. The mistress of macabre returns with another shocking short story.
  • Tyler's Training on June 03, 2015

So, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when I got this story and started reading. And normally it's not my cup of tea, I tend to prefer my erotica focused on the sex and all that is around that. That being said, I did enjoy this story a great deal for more than just the lewd aspects of it. It was an enjoyable, kinky, and different story with, as usual, something I wasn't expecting at all. If I had to say something bad, it would be that I can't connect with the main character too much. He's fairly unrelatable and has a very well defined personality, even after it changes. I greatly enjoy the detail put in the situations, however. Even if I can't connect with the character I could picture what he was going through and how it was effecting him very well, and this story has depth that makes it very interesting and enjoyable, and refreshing compared to most adult stories I've seen.
