Diane grew up in North Vancouver and, by the age of thirteen had travelled to more countries than most people do in a lifetime. As a result, her writings reflect the places in which she has traveled and lived. She is a committed educator, working to help students learn to love reading and writing. Diane has given readings and talks at various high schools in an effort to encourage young writers. She is also dedicated to human rights work; she sponsors are Gay-Straight Alliance and fundraises for Project Hope, a Victoria based organization that supports an orphanage in the township of Jo Slovo, South Africa.
Gwen has left Ken, her brutal boyfriend, in Cardiff hoping somehow to save their relationship. But instead bringing Ken back, Gwen makes two new friends who provide her with a list of ten things that she must do. Even though the list seems ‘loonie’, Gwen decides that she has nothing to lose and embarks on a three-day adventure in London that will change her life.
