Ellen Mae

I enjoy writing (obviously), and I hope you will enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoyed writing them.

Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a small city, in the state of Tasmania (AUS). I was quite an unpopular kid, didn't have many friends - it's a mystery why - and I enjoyed reading. A lot. That love of reading developed into an over-active imagination, which in turn developed into the stories you see here.
When did you first start writing?
I've always had a love for writing, but I don't think I really got into it (seriously) until I was in year 8 (13-14 years old). I also wrote a lot of fanfiction, which I look back at now and cringe.
