Smashwords Interview

What is your e-reading device of choice?
I don't own one. Since I spend so much time in front of my desktop, I do my e-reading through Kindle for PC. But if I DID own one, it would probably be a Kindle.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Minnesota. But I'm not sure if this had anything to do with my writing style or ambitions. I'm not exactly 'regional'. In fact, after people hear my voice, they often ask me where I'm from. I guess I don't sound like a Minnesotan.

What might Bram Stoker, Robert Louis Stevenson and Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley have written without Nineteenth Century mores inhibiting their pens? And what did they write to hint at sexual license lurking beneath the surface of propriety and the printed page? Mina Harker's Diary explores the hidden eroticism of Dracula, Jekyll & Hyde and Frankenstein to cast them in a new, voluptuous light.
