I have never met a stray that I did not like particularly giant dogs and naughty cats. I am always determined to help them find a home. I love cooking Christmas dinner and sabotaging diets with my thick, homemade, buttery peanut brittle. I am definitely a morning person and do most of my writing in the early morning and into the early afternoon. I love taking pictures of trees that have seen better days. They are usually broken, leafless and barely standing. Yet they stand and survive inclement weather. There is so much beauty in them and they make remarkably beautiful prints.
What are you working on next?
I am working on a Southern gothic novel.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The gift of life. Life is such a God given gift and there are so many new and exciting things that are right in front of us every day. I’m a cloud watcher and I love seeing the different shapes that the clouds form. For instance today I saw a big Santa face in the clouds.
