Dr Chawla is a practicing clinician and a board qualified Internist. She has an active practice at the East West Medical Center in New Delhi, India. She also has Diplomas in Adolescent Health and Family Medicine. She was a Flying doctor with East West Rescue and is currently a Director of East West Rescue.
Dr Chawla conducts health and wellness seminars, full of warnings, tips, common sense, prevention and emergency measures. Her active involvement with East West Rescue Medical Assistance and Air Ambulance services involves daily face to face assessment, long distance diagnosis, first aid advice and evacuation of sick and injured persons throughout the Indian Sub-continent, Eastern Europe and South East Asia.
Dr Chawla has also written the bestseller ‘Travel Health: A Guide for the Indian Subcontinent’ (Published by Penguin India. 2001), Co Authored ‘Emergency Medical Services and Disaster Medicine’ (Jaypee publishers 2001), multiple medical articles in Aviation medicine journals, Readers Digest etc. Dr Chawla also creates health advisories and disaster plans for multi -national companies and organizations.
