Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Upstate NY. And considering there wasn't much to do up there other than watch movies, that's pretty much all I did. That fueled my imagination.
When did you first start writing?
May 2002. I had finished reading all of the Laurell K. Hamilton that I could get my hands on at the time and was pretty pissed. So, I decided to write my own books to pass the time until she came out with another one.
She was once a vampire and is now human in more ways than one. Well, somewhat human, anyway. He is a vampire who wants to know the secret behind her research and will even resort to seduction to find out. What he doesn't know is that he'll have to move fast because someone else has been coveting her for more sinister reasons.
The sequel to Unstable Environment.
Root woman Donna Tucker needs to know who's responsible for tainting her roots. Werecheetah Ronan McCleary wants her to pay for her deadly mistake. Both need to get over their hatred of each other, if they're to defeat the monsters who want to drain their souls...and survive the growing desire in their hearts.
People swear they've seen doppelgangers all of the time. It's when more than a dozen decide they want you dead that you have to worry. Mackenzie Lawson knows because that's her predicament. Unless she can find a way to stop the curse that's driving them to kill, she's going to have a hard time explaining the massacre they're planning for her family reunion.
A curse turns Loreal Ingram, the manager of a domestic abuse shelter, into an arachnid, a creature who thrives on vengeance. Too bad for those who prey victims. Even worse for Loreal's detective boyfriend who doesn't know the killing machine inside her will do whatever it takes to protect her.
Life wouldn't be so bad for seventeen-year-old Phaedra Thorne if schizophrenia and psychokinesis didn't run in the family. With her supernaturally insane mother locked away in the attic and Phae left to take care of her six-year-old sister, things couldn't get any worse, right? Tell that to her estranged, older brother who decides to return home with an incubus for a cure.
