Blood Shadow: Book of Hartwell is a unique tale of romance, mystery, paranormal and alternate history. I love anything vampire related but this story has a really unusual twist. I just couldn't stop reading it once I started... The Author, Phil Wohl does a wonderful job of marrying all the elements in this debut novel. Captivated readers will look forward to the next book in the series.

High School Rivalry

This book really took me back to my days in high school! I loved it so much that I passed it on to my teenager, who really doesn't read as much as I would like. He devoured the book in two days and then asked me, "Do you have any more books written by this author?" Now I'm waiting for Phil Wohl to post his next book! Thanks!

Yes! I can't get enough of these books! Waited for Phil Wohl to post another book and was rewarded with this cool and easy read! I ripped through the book in a couple of days. Great story with characters I actually cared about... could see this as a movie! Keep 'em coming, Phil!

Great book for tweens! Gave it to my son first, who read it in a weekend, and then I picked it up and enjoyed it, too! You feel for Xavier in his plight to feel comfortable around girls. Highly recommended!

Wow! I was blown away by this one... what a special relationship between teacher and student! Made me feel like going back to school and getting in the classroom to make a difference. Author has great range. Can't wait to see what he posts next!

Wow! It is difficult for most writers to write more than one book on a story, let alone make me insane waiting for the third book! I have become so invested in these characters that I feel like I am part of the story. Eagerly awaiting book three, and the author has also hinted that a fourth book might be in the works! Awesome!

What an emotional roller-coaster this book was! I laughed, I cried, and I also felt like I was in the middle of some of the sex scenes. Talk about fogging up the windows! Really cared about the characters... that's not something I can say about most of the books and movies I come across.

Oh my god! It would have been a great ending to a vampire trilogy, and now he's writing a fourt book! Wow! The wait is going to kill me, but thanks for the first three books! Awesome!

This book is crazy, but in a good way! If you like American Pie and Porky's, then you'll love Locker Room. Easy and very enjoyable read.

What a simple concept that bloomed into a very riveting story! Sam is quite a character... I've known a lot of Sam's in my day. Author continues to amaze me with his wide breadth of work. Can't wait to see what the next book will be about.

Oh my! Most book series run out of the steam by the second or third book, but this one keeps getting better and better! The story built up to a dramatic ending and the writer kept we wanting more! I flipped the last page and wanted to keep reading! How utterly frustrating and thrilling at the same time. Can't wait for the next book! Thanks, again!

A page-turner. It was interesteing to see what happens to people after high school. It's always great to have a second chance and be able to positively influence the next generation.

The author's vampire books appear to be polarizing readers, with either five- or one-star ratings. I don't see this as a bad thing, although I really have enjoyed the series. You either like the stories or you don't, and I don't think there is any room for personal agendas on this site. We all just want fun books to read and Mr. Wohl is providing that at a price you can't beat: FREE!

This book is as stimulating as his other books, Locker Room, Law Street and Keeping up with the Greenbergs. Really took me back to the first job out of college... lots of fun!

WOW! This book is both hysterical and quite steamy. Could really imagine this one as a movie... nearly peed in my pants from some of the crazy scenes and dialogue! Can't imagine what this author will come up next? Big fan!
