Keith Fisher


Keith Fisher was born and brought up in Cape Town where he qualified as an attorney at the University of Cape Town and was admitted to the Supreme Court in 1960. He was recruited into the expanding South African Defence Force of the 1960s as an intelligence officer. He resigned from the defence force in 1980 as a colonel. He re-entered the private sector where he served as corporate communications executive of three JSE-listed companies until his semi-retirement in 2000. He now serves as a corporate communications consultant to a number of JSE-listed companies.
He is a member and past chairman of the Pretoria Writers’ Circle and was Writer of the Year in 2010.
Keith and his wife, Rosalie, live in Centurion, Gauteng. They have three daughters and three grandchildren.
