Author of R. Nevada, S.P.I. series of tongue-in-cheek sci-fi books, devoted husband of Brade Gillcoan (until she gets sick of being married to an obsessive writer) and loyal companion to spoiled Peek-a-poo, Mr. Barkly...
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Who says I've grown up? Maintaining a child-like perspective has influenced my writing greatly, as if you couldn't tell. "Grown up" thinking requires too many filters to be placed on the writing, so I avoid it.
When did you first start writing?
This is the second question, so I guess I started writing about two minutes ago. Oh, you mean... sorry. I've been writing since I was old enough to hold a crayon, but I started writing seriously, let's see... I guess that hasn't happened yet. I don't like to write seriously because it requires thinking seriously. Or is that seriously thinking?
