Edward Horton

Biography

Ed Horton
Born in the East end of London in 1952, Ed has led what is described as a colourful life. Leaving school at 14 he quickly became streetwise especially after a spell in Feltham Young Offenders institution.

Always a keen sportsman, Feltham introduced him back into education and he became interested in computers and science. He was interested enough on his release to go back to college and left with a degree in computer science, a subject he now teaches.

Married three times he has six children, two of which currently live with him and third wife Lilly in a country cottage in Kent.

He now lists his hobbies outside of science, as bread making, collecting Doulton Dickens series ware and watching all sorts of sport. His thing to do, is to be the first, (known), man on Mars.
