Tod Eten

Biography

Tod Eten was born in Kolkata, India and grew up in Addlestone, England. He attended Salesian College, Chertsey then went on to university but dropped out of his degree course to find something that was missing from his life.

With just £500 and some nerve to back it up, he backpacked alone through Europe, Israel and Egypt, getting as far as the Aswan dam before he decided to turn around. During his journey, he saw many of Egypt, Israel, and Greece’s great and ancient wonders finding work wherever he could. He believes that fate guided him on his journey there and back again filling him with a desire to learn more.

In his free time, Tod enjoys meditating and most sports, once being invited to play for the Indian national rugby team. He loves reading fantasy and Sci-Fi books, and is a big fan of watching travel programs, especially when it involves a train journey, whether it’s somewhere exotic or closer to home.

One of his greatest interests is in the various mythologies of the world and in the unexplained, such as UFO’s, spirituality, and religion. He is of the belief that there is much more to our past than we know and there are many secrets waiting to be unearthed.

Today Tod lives with his wife and 4 children and runs his own business, while writing books with a mythological and fantasy element and searching for the meaning of life. He is firmly of the belief that humanity is finally about to emerge from a dark time and will defeat the forces that have controlled it, setting billions free to develop as the creator intended, where money is no longer the most important thing in life and where advanced technology is made available to all.

I have read every one of Douglas Adam's and Terry Pratchett's books, Tom Sharpe also tickled me. On a more serious note I also like Clive Barker, Iain M Banks and Anne McCafferty. My most often read book is Lord Of The Rings by Tolkien.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Being alive I guess, I've never been a late riser. I usually have things I plan to do for the day already set in my mind which focuses my mind.
