Biography

Edwin Mathe is an upcoming author who in his right believes in the best that the world has to offer, born and bred in Zimbabwe by a Zambian father and a Malawian mother, Edwin understands and knows well the hash economic, and political injustice hence his writing is inspired mostly by what he himself has gone through, Historical Echoes is his first book to be published and there are other projects that he is working on these include 365 Days in Leadership this is more of a leaders Diary, The Perception of Love a relationship based book about love, further to being an author Edwin does write plays where in celebration of his first poetry book Historical Echoes, comes with it a promotional play "Tales of Poetry" this is a celebratory production only poetry and music with 15 of the poems in this production from the book Historical Echoes, Edwin is an enthusiastic and charismatic writer inspired by his former directer in Theater Peter Mutanda Wa-Ndebele who has published a number of poetry books. Edwin believes he is the Force of change in his community wherever he is, writing plays the best part of his life, as he dubbed himself the prince of poetry, he makes poetry his solace, his motivation, his throne, as he says he is the prince of poetry such are the pages that he writes tell a story of this best author and play writer at his age with his passion this is just yet the beginning what about the end?
