Biography

I have a background in journalism, but am now focusing on fiction. My first novella SCHRÖDINGER'S CAT is a psychological thriller in the SciFi genre.

I'm also the author of THE TRAZ, the first in my BackTracker crime series and its sequel FATAL ERROR.

If you like psychological thrillers, I'm your kind of author.

  • Sacrifice: Book One of The Last Forever on Feb. 07, 2011

Kelly has created a magical world inhabited by elves and and dwarves and giants and humans and monsters. Kelly is great with words--her clever fast-paced action scenes are breath-takingly memorable. Strong writing coupled with powerful characters pulls the story through a few minor plot weaknesses. We're rooting for the young heroine from start to finish. Sacrifice--a great action adventure that will leave readers begging for more. Thank heavens there's a sequel.

Ahhhh, Beneath a Texas Star—you can hear the drawl, taste the dessert sand, and smell the gunsmoke. Alison Bruce invites us not only to southern balls populated with southern belles, but slips us inside brothels writhing with temptresses and introduces us to rough and rowdy ranch hands. Bruce also gives us a female whose only weakness is her desire for her Texas Ranger. Ah, the mystery, the romance, the bygone lawless era of Apaches and cowboys and hustlers and ladies of the night. Clean written and magical prose. Overall, a well-researched light read for lovers of mystery and historic romance.
