Many generations of restless blood, runs in Elisabet’s veins. Born in a suburb of Copenhagen, Elisabet Leibølle is the firstborn child of two teachers who chose simplicity and stability over the fantastic experiments and material dreams that otherwise characterized that season of Danish history. Her father had survived escaping Prussia and years in a German ‘displaced-persons’ camp, and her mother harsh poverty, which killed three of her siblings. But a child of the flowering sixties and seventies, their daughter didn’t appreciate the value of these survival skills till much later.
Having explored the New Age labyrinths of spirituality, politics’ promises of changing the world, and performing art’s emotional intensity, she finally found a home in the arms of Jesus at the age of 23. A year later, her Lord asked her to exchange her life as a flamenco-dancer for His adventure, no details provided. Their agreement was that instead of the fire and beauty of dance, He would make her an ambassador of His passion, freedom, and joy. Leaving her country and her identity as a lesbian behind, it has been her life’s pursuit ever since. It is the heartbeat of her endeavors.
Today, Elisabet is the grateful wife of Pastor Robert and the mother of David and Serenity. Besides leading the women’s ministry Oasis at her home church, Calvary Chapel Miami Beach, and homeschooling her own teens, she teaches other homeschoolers once a week at Equip Education. This, and life with a busy husband, add up to a deep daily dependence on God’s wisdom, strength and sanity. They are the mines where new beauties of God’s unfailing goodness and unwavering involvement are continually discovered.
Isa 61:3 “To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified."

Come, Fill the Gap
by Elisabet Fountain
Come, Fill the Gap is a 30-day revival of passion, feasting verse by verse on the life-giving Words of the Song of Solomon. Intended as an interaction between you, the reader, and the Author of your soul, my prayer is that this book might help you tune in to the music of your heart. Not a scholar, I am simply a fellow sojourner, who has discovered a Paradise I just cannot keep to myself.
