Elizabeth Nakou

Biography

The author: Elizabeth Nakou

I was born in Athens, Greece. As a child I loved writing stories and playing music. That's why when I grew up I decided to do both! I have studied electronic organ and theory of music and have been awarded a Certificate by the Yamaha Music Foundation as well as certificates in Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue by the Greek Ministry of Education. I also hold a Diploma in Translation and have attended many courses regarding the methodology of teaching English as a foreign language. Having worked for over a decade in one of the largest conservatories in Athens as a music teacher - as well as a Yamaha Key Teacher - in Greece, I decided to follow my instinct and do what I love the most. In 2014, I opened my own school, "Vrexei notes" (www.vrexeinotes.gr), where I teach English through musical activities and so much more! When I'm not teaching, writing or playing music, I spend my time with my family and my two wonderful children!

I have been working as a professional translator since 2007 (EnglishGreek), so feel free to contact me if you need my services!
