Biography

Ndzi n'wana wa vunharhu endyangwini wa ka-Ngobeni. Ndzi ya thwasela digiri ya swa vutsari na mahungu eYunivhesithi ya Venda. Valentine Samuel Mathonsi I jaha leri ndzi wiseke vele. Ntshaho I madyondza ya hina. Ndzi ni tibuku to hlaya leto ka ti nga se kandziyisiwa ta switlhokovetselo, tinovhele, ta vana xikan'we na ta ximoya. Ndzi mukhutazi hi swa rito ra Xikwembu na muhlohloteri hi swa vutomi. Ndza pepa ku vona vamakwerhu va hlohloteleka hi vutsari bya mina.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was born and bred in Xawela block 23, currently I reside in Dzingidzingi; both villages are found in Giyani, Limpopo. I grew up with a low esteem; so writing for a book is the best way for me to express myself and it will also help me to explore the world in a special and different way.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in 2009 while I was serving as a journalist in a community newspaper, Matimu News.
I contributed a lot in the department of Labour, Compensation Fund's newsletter, 'Tirisano' in 2013/2014. I also participated in AVBOB Poetry competition between 2017 and 2019. Early 2020 I won a Provincial Literary Competition award from Department of Sport, Arts and Culture.
