Colonel D. R. Acula
Colonel D. R. Acula is the pen name of Author Eric Jude. He finds both torment and joy in the dark, and in the dismal tales that he pens. He considers his writings a glimpse into the collective soul of humanity and all its emotional and psychological throes that create us or destroy us. Having been a doom metal musician and fan for many years, he applies the same principles and dark embraces of doom metal to his literary crafts. When he writes he listens solely to just two (Doom Metal) bands 'My Dying Bride' and 'Forest of Shadows'. He loves a good short story, however he is in the process of completing his debut novel.
When he isn't writing and listening to Doom Metal, he can found looking through a camera lens. While his writings are generally on the darker spectrum of things, his photography focuses on the brilliant and wonderful world of life and colors that surround us. He works professionally and for sake of hobby with his camera.
He also spends a great deal of time writing for his website http://www.ericjude.com - It is also the webpage you can visit to learn more about him and his photography, writings and ventures.
