Eric Mrozek is the author of the Maereath series of novels and an ardent pop culture junkie who currently resides in Michigan. What is the greatest joy of writing for you?

I like the thrill of creating new worlds that virtually anyone can get lost in.

Who are your favorite authors?

Tom Clancy, J.R.R. Tolkien, Margaret Weis, and Tracy Hickman. Most of their books are an excellent mixture of worldbuilding, emotion, and action.
