Steve Lemieux-Jordan

Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
My formative years were in the West Country of England, a land of rolling hills...
The major influences at that time were radio shows like the Goon Show starring Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan, Harry Secombe and Michael Bentine. Then along came Monty Python's Flying Circus, directed by my father's cousin Ian McNaughton.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Well, that would be a whole other book. The short version is that I have always enjoyed writing but as I am dyslexic and have ADD it has never been easy. The story of Kevin The Brave therefore has floated around my mind for more moons than I can remember, with the advent of computers and especially spell check, I was finally able to write without fear of the end result being an illegible mess.
