Esri Allbritten lives in Boulder, Colorado with her husband, Angel Joe, and her cat, Musette La Plume. In addition to sushi, bowling and madrigals, she enjoys discovering quirky, real-life towns and wreaking fictional havoc in them.
Esri has one full length mystery published in hardcover and ebook by St. Martin's Press/Minotaur Books: Chihuahua of the Baskervilles is the first in her Tripping Magazine mystery series, about a low-budget travel magazine that features destinations of paranormal interest. Unfortunately, every time the staff covers a story, it turns out there's a crime behind the supposedly supernatural events. The second book, The Portrait of Doreene Gray, will be available in hardback and ebook from the same publisher, in July of 2012. All the books in this series feature Chihuahuas, because Esri likes them.
Charlotte Baskerville, designer of small dog clothing, is asked if her Russian dog trainer will play Santa at the last minute. As she struggles to get him ready, an elf costume and other Chihuahua couture disappear from her workshop. This is a stand-alone story that features characters from the full-length mystery, 'Chihuahua of the Baskervilles,' published by St. Martin's Press.
