Eunice Castro Seixas
With a background in psychology, and experience in higher education, Eunice Castro Seixas interest in social issues led her to complete a PhD in sociology (specialization in 'Postcolonialisms and Global Citizenship') in the Faculty of Economics of University of Coimbra.
She is currently affiliated with the Research Center in Psychology (CIPsi) at the University of Minho, in Braga, where she works on the subjects of Critical and Justice Psychology and Critical Criminology.
She has published peer-reviewed national and international papers on several topics: democratization and developmental aid, transitional justice, terrorism, environmental governance and communication, public participation in environmental issues, Lusophony, higher education and HIV/AIDS counseling.
Her main current research interests comprise: social harm, critical criminology, environmental governance, qualitative and participative methodologies and critical discourse analysis.
