Everly J. Scott

Everly J Scott graduated from the University of Georgia in 2009 with a degree in creative writing with a minor in fine art. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in English/lit and hopes when she finally grows up she will be an editor in addition to her own writing. She has worked as a private school art teacher but decided she does not handle other people’s children very well and chose to leave the teaching to those better suited to it.
Everly is single and plans to remain that way for a good long while. She is far too young and fabulous to settle down just yet, but thinks maybe when she’s forty, she might consider taking the plunge if Mr. Right ever decides to show his face.
Everly likes to think she is funny and hopes you will enjoy her books that feature strong, intelligent, independent, awesome women like herself.

Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Atlanta Georgia and have lived all over the country, but I've always returned home! My travels more than anything have influenced my writing. The more you get out there and experience the world, the more inspiration you have to draw from. Write what you know is an old adage for a reason.
When did you first start writing?
I wrote my first book when I was in high school. It was awful! But it taught me how much I enjoy the writing experience and the creativity involved.
