Obehi Peter Ewanfoh

Biography

Obehi Peter Ewanfoh was born in Amedokhian village in Uromi, Nigeria on 3rd February 1979 and attended Amedokhian primary school and Holywood Comprehensive School, both in Uromi. He has been in Verona, Italy since 2004 where he attended a two year-course on Feature Writing with London School of Journalism and another two year-course on filmmaking with New York Film Direct (both online).

His literary carrier actually started while he was still in Junior Secondary School, triggered by his curiosity and his love for writing. He wrote his first book, "Round My Mind", while still in JSSC 3 and published it three years later while finishing his SSCE 3 in 2004. This first publication was a success: the 150 copies he printed, all in Uromi, were all sold within three weeks. He published his second book, Still Owing Me Goodbye, a fictionalized autobiography of his infant days in Uromi, in 2009. His third book, a research on underdevelopment in Africa, "Underdevelopment In Africa: My Hands Are Clean", was released in November 2010. His fourth book, "Amende - The Stream Water", a fictional story about a young boy on a mission of exploration within himself is expected to be out on 1st January 2015.
