What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
After letting my writing get cold for a couple weeks I then go back and read the story again. This time I'm not looking for mistakes I am looking for content and readability. The real joy I get then is asking myself if I really wrote this as a lot of times a sentence, in my opinion, is so good that I have doubt about my writing it. This gives me a lot of joy as I know I did actually write it.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
I haven't considered my writing as a success yet. The only way I can judge my writing efforts will be in the number of readers and their reviews.
The unaccepted suicide conclusion by the police, on her husbands death, forces a widow to obtain outside help. Her quest was two fold. She wanted to restore her husbands good name, which would validate his life insurance policy, and she wanted to bring those responsible for his death to justice.
Staking out a building while regurgitating her earlier years, Megan Ann Morgan PI, closes the case of the missing heirloom. Almost immediately she is handed a murder case for her and JJ to solve thereby relieving a client of the cloud of murder hanging over his head.
Jim found it deep in a cave. Susan, George and Lance all handled it back at the campfire. The visions they experience afterward were unbelievable and left them vulnerable to those wishing to exploit their ability.
After ten years of the alien teleportation device’s flawless transport, to and from the earth to the moon, it came to a screeching halt due the loss of a famous astronaut during transport. This mishap was only the beginning as there were many additional alien situations lurking on the horizon that made this mishap dim in comparison.
Aaron was just a kid when he first saw the stranger but he wouldn't ever forget him. As far as he was concerned the stranger being there at that time probably saved his life. It was just a few years later he saw the stranger again. The fact that the stranger looked the same and again saved his life left an indelible memory with him of the incident.
Scott Standard is a Coordinator. His job is to settle disputes between worlds who are at war with each other. In the process of doing his job he is randomly attacked by an unusual and unprovoked enemy. His job now is to find who the enemy is and stop these attacks on his organization. Thanks Fixitman. I hope my attempt at some corrections will alleviate some reading difficulties.
An anomaly on the moon, recorded by a orbiting telescope, pushed NASA to revamp and extend the missions of their Space Shuttles. They would now fly numerous mission to construct and become a part of a large moon bound vehicle being built in orbit. The final shuttles launches would deliver the numerous astronaut crews to orbit before becoming a part of the moon bound vehicle.
What an idea. Using actual witch trials from early America and taking the results forward for hundred of years and putting a Wizard to work for the National Security Agency. The ability to open any door, enter a crowded room unseen and exit with valuable evidence without leaving a trace is unbelievable but so sometimes necessary. A person or Wizard with these talents are not replaceable.
I suggest you mind your Ps and Qs and check the trees. She is out there and, although she now has some history behind her, she is still capable of leaping from tree to tree if the situation requires it. Quick read and to the point.
The detective is a bulldog that just will not let go. Threats of being fired, sued and belittled have little or no effect on his pursuit or his determination to solve the case. Lack of support by upper echelon, all the way to the top, seem to spirit his determination to prove he is right in his suspecting a certain person of the crimes. I recommend this book and hope you will be entertained as I was.
