I am a retired teacher and live with my wife, Mary, and some of our children (it varies how many we have at home at any one time) near Liverpool, England. I used to collect stories for use in school, hopefully to encourage and spur the students to make the best of themselves. Having retired I have this huge collection of anecdotes and no more students to encourage. That is why I have used some of them in this book. The people about whom I have written may show all of us how to live a better life, without regrets.
People who are in the later stages of life often express common regrets. Frank Bond offers a number of solutions, using examples and stories. The reader is invited to examine his/her life and to consider altering it for the better. Nothing is suggested that is too difficult. Each of the twenty solutions costs nothing. This book is easy to read but a powerful tool for living the best life possible.
