This was a great book to read on a cold snowy day. I loved how she developed all the characters and described her surroundings so well- the images were easily created in my mind. The author's love of nature shone through in the occasional appearance of a native bird. The story itself was well-developed and so compelling that I didn't want to put it down! I highly recommend this read, and am looking forward to the author's next mystery!
