Gayle Carline

Biography

Gayle used to be a software engineer, but she chewed her way out of the cubicle for a career as a writer. She began by writing articles for Riding Magazine, then in 2005, she got a gig as a humor columnist for her weekly newspaper, the Placentia News-Times. In 2009, her first book, Freezer Burn, was published by Echelon Press, and now she has a book of her columns, woven around the story of her life as a newspaper gal. Let's face it; she's been busy.
