I'm new to Smashwords and there's some really great stuff on here that would never have seen the light of day a few years back. I thought I'd jump in with a fantasy epic and I hope my next purchase will be as enthralling as this. I do love my fantasy quests and this has all the expected elements plus a lot of uniqueness. I love the idea that good and evil is conducted through sound, which is the basis for this story, many of the main characters in it are referred to as Mugicians, a really nice creation. It's a long yarn, but value for money including maps which help you follow the story. I'm looking forward to part 2 next year. Good writing, Mr Stagg, this is a great debut.
