Genara Palmer

Biography

Palmer is a native New Mexican. She retired from the U.S. Army after serving for twenty years as a training officer, unit commander, personnel officer, and drug and alcohol control officer, among other assignments. She completed teaching certification requirements and a master’s degree in Technological and Occupational Education at the University of New Mexico. She then worked with the Kirtland Air Force Base Educational Services office for ten years.

Most of her writing has been for academia and the military, although she has privately published a book of her father’s history and two volumes of her mother’s history. Kathryn: Missing Pieces is her first novel. She is working on a sequel.
