George Anagnostoulis

Biography

George was born in Greece. He acquired an interest in Middle Eastern affairs at a young age while coming into contact with news reports and newsreels reporting the civil war in Lebanon and the Islamic Revolution in Iran. Moreover, he has come into contact with the Arab language and culture since birth, through interaction with his Egyptian maternal grandfather, who he grew up and lived with until his early 20s, when he passed away.

He has had the opportunity to travel and stay for some time in the Middle East and GCC countries. Moreover, he has travelled to many European countries and the USA.

He holds the General Certificate of Education (GCE) at Advanced Level (A-level) in Government and Political Studies, Modern Greek, Law, and General Studies. Also, a Bachelor of Laws in English and European Laws LLB (Hons) (University of Essex), a Master of Laws LLM (University of Southampton), and a Master of Arts in Business MA (Leeds Business School).

In England, he worked in the private sector. Following his return to Greece, he practiced law for a number of years.
