George McLaird

Served for 26+ years

I’ve been retired from Parish ministry for 14 years but, I’m busy doing things I love such as: spending time with family and friends, writing, teaching, traveling, conducting ceremonies and staying as healthy as possible everyday. I do a great deal of this with my wife, Linda; have been married 32 years … the best years of my entire life.

My latest book: A Guide for Spiritual Living. It is the text I use when teaching, Mastering the Art of Spiritual Living. The term "spiritual" means healthy.

The stages of attraction, infatuation and deeply felt love often cause emotional-overwhelm and distorts our view through unrealistically optimistic eyes. Falling in love, getting married, raising a family and living one's entire life with him/her is one of the most natural things we want to do. The theme: "Congratulations! But stop, look and listen, one more time, before crossing this street."
