Just finished this book and really enjoyed it. I found this author really good. Found this a great portrayal of the Mafia world right up there for people who have enjoyed reading the Godfather, Soprano and Good-fellas. Love how he brought in actual sites and streets from around Buffalo, which I recognized since growning up there. We have Alex who is a detective and also has done undercover in the Mafia. He is out to find the killer of his good friend Jack. Well sometimes even our best of plans can go really not well for us. Found the book to have many of twists and wanted to find out what would happen next. We get a look at both sides. One of a cop out to get the killer of his friend by going back undercover and trying to keep his family together. Then we get the side of the Mafia family fighting amongst themselves and trying to stay alive for another day. A great story here and would recommend this one to read. Can't wait for the next book to come out.

I found this a truly amazing story that Miss Rumzi has brought to us. A breath taking story of survival, forgiveness, endurance an the healing of ones soul. This story will draw you in to the life of a young woman who has been so put down that she can not see the beautiful caring and loving person that she is. She gives us a look into the world of Salma who has been put down since childhood and now in marriage. A women who has lost all self esteem, that she thinks she can not take care of herself and daughters . Her husband has made feel that she is nothing without him. She meets Eleanor who becomes not just a person she takes care of but a person who become someone that gives her the strength she need to see the true person she really is. I found this book hard to put down. It shows us just because a person has been abused. It does not mean that they will be abusers themselves. I would highly recommend this book.

Sonia has brought us six more wonderful stories. Very wonderfully written and deep insight into life around us and how people treat each other. Sometimes we just don't want to admit that these things are going around us or we just turn a blind eye to it saying it is not happening. These stories will sometimes make you smile, cry or just make you want to scream and shake the person to get them to listen. You will find yourself asking how can people treat each other this way or make you take a deeper look at ones life Each story is different and the characters just seem to come to life while reading. They could be family or your next door neighbor. This is a book that everyone should read.
