There’s nothing more soothing for the brain than traipsing into an unknown world.
As a young girl, I loved nothing more than writing fantastical stories, and plays, about the majestical and daring adventures my dolls, and my brothers action men, would embark upon.
I’ve always loved the way I can make a character do almost anything, even the seemingly impossible. Or at the very least something I’d be too afraid to tackle myself.
Of course, with every story there’s always some form of research, and for me this is as awesome as writing the story itself. There’s nothing like delving into a gritty bit of history, or Greek and Norse mythology.
And when I’m not writing, I love to get outdoors with my family: I can usually be spotted in some wood or on a Scottish hill hunting for little plastic boxes. Geocaching is a fantastic outdoor hobby which provides me with numerous amounts of inspiration for my writing.
What are you working on next?
Currently I am working on Book 2 of the World of Gewissae series.
Who are your favorite authors?
At the moment I'm working my way through the wonderful historical books in the outlander series by Diana Gabaldon but I also love to absorb myself in the fantasy worlds of Garth Nix and Piers Anthony.
Saturia must return to us. You are the only one who can save Mesonia from Ecio Pyrrus. Trust only the Gir-nauud.
This is what nightmares haunting her dreams every night are saying. But why? They are just dreams. She can do nothing for the tortured people within them. Or can she?
Dreams haunt my sleep, telling me I’m the only one who can save Mesonia from the evil clutches of Ecio Pyrrus. But just what can I, little Celine Jones, do about a world that exists only in my nightmares.
