I read the first book The Officer's Wife and was panting for the follow-up book, The Prostitute's Daughter. When I finally got my hands on it, I did not want to put it down. The words kept me captive and each page was like an adventure. I wanted love to win! When it seemed as if all the struggles would block love I yelled nooooooo but rushed to keep reading. I needed to know it would be a passionate finish.
