Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was born and raised on the planet of New Jersey. It's a strange place where people are sincere and tell you what they're thinking. Some very talented and funny people have successfully escaped to cleaner air.
When did you first start writing?
I wrote poetry and short stories as a child. I may have won a writing contest. I was one of just a few who didn't get bullied by peers. That's probably because I played sports and sang in a rock band. My peers didn't catch me wearing goofy glasses, argyle socks, or a granny-knit sweater. I was mostly incognito.
