Gotharts Levenberg



William Alexander Levenberg is a Modern Experimental Artist and Photographer who's known by the pseudonym "Gotharts." He infuses philosophy, irony, morbidity and dark humor into various mediums and medias, such as: painting, photography and visual poetry. He is deeply influenced by his education at CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice where he'd majored in Forensic Psychology and minored in Gender Studies as well as Art.
He is a feminist and an ally to the LGTBQNIAC communities and a local Lay-Speaker of the United Methodist Church.
This 25 year old activist and artist, who currently resides in Long Island, specializes in photographing people, graffiti, urban artwork and landscapes. He is an emerging artist whose work has been shown in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, New Jersey, Baltimore, and has art pieces that are even now featured overseas

What is your e-reading device of choice?
Tough Question. I love my Android Tablet,and phone. Its Accessible to all my documents. And I get to use them for art projects such as editing photos or drawing. But Ideally, If I am not Creating art pieces Or reading a book in paperback. Its a Kindle e-reader.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My Latest Photography Book Feed Me Strange Fruit Combines expired 35mm Film and a visual story of found objects, people and Conceptual ideas I had in the back of my head. Those Ideas were Things I wanted to do for years.
