If you are a Navy veteran this story will bring back great memories. If you are a civilian this story will show you the dangers flight deck workers face every day.
  • The Holdout on June 04, 2015

This short story is set up like a joke . . . "Two jurors walk into a bar--" but it's not a joke at all. The crime was gruesome and not so clean cut. There were several big twists that I didn't see coming.

Good story if you like boxing.
  • Smashwords Style Guide on April 12, 2016

Thanks for the excellent clear instructions, especially on how to set up the styles and use them to format the entire document. I could not have done this without you Mr Coker.
  • The Secrets to Ebook Publishing Success on April 12, 2016

Well written and full of solid advice from cover to cover. I believe that doing most or all of the things in this book increase your chances of success with ebook publishing, however it takes great writing and lots of luck to sell a lot of books.

I saw a review that said this said a story like this belongs in Playboy or Esquire magazine and I agree. It is excellent fiction. Top shelf writing, characters and action, plus is gritty, fast and fun.
  • The Pirate, Part I: The Traitor on Sep. 08, 2017

I read this in one shot - could not put it down. One page had me shocked and the next made me laugh. I can't decide if I like or hate the main character, but I will read the next part when it comes out. Taking off one star for a couple of choppy cuts between scenes.
  • The Depths and other tales of Intrigue on Sep. 08, 2017

Decent stories I read some time ago. Show the author's ability to write in several different styles. I esp like going beneath the ice, that was creepy.
  • The Pirate, Part II: The Kingpin on April 24, 2018

Solid writing in this crime thriller kept the pages turning.
