Biography
Grandpa Al:
- Grew up on a farm
- Has been a consultant to large and very small businesses
- Was a manager of engineering for a couple of different small manufacturing companies
- Started and operated several small businesses
- Is interested in DIY (Do It Yourself) projects and activities.
Many farm boys learned how to be self-sufficient, out of necessity, as they grew up in the 1940’s and 1950’s. In the last 50 years Grandpa Al sat behind a desk most of the time; spending less than 3% of his time on a farm. But, he still likes DIY projects and activities.
As Grandpa Al ages he reflects more and more on what really makes life meaningful. What mistakes have been made and how to help others from making similar mistakes. He also likes to show people the techniques he has learned. For example he has learned that less is often more. That is one reason his ebooks are quite short.
Grandpa Al specializes in ebooks that make life: more enjoyable; easier; more rewarding: and, more fulfilling. He places emphasis on things that are not taught, or at least not learned, in public schools. He stresses individualism. Do not let others set standards for you. Set your own goals and standards for success. Think for yourself! He focuses on techniques that are more economical and make tasks easier (require less work).
