Each story is connected through the characters of The Grim Reader bookstore and readers will enjoy getting to know them all. Stories such as, "Stickboy" will linger on long after you finish the tale. Book Stories shows us the importance of having a place to escape to, somewhere just like The Grim Reader bookstore.
  • A Bunch of Bankers on March 10, 2021

In the hilarious screenplay by Anna Tomkins, "A Bunch of Bankers" starts with a smart narration by the main character, Sean, whose humor and lop-sided wit is balanced by the entourage of bankers who all have their little 'quirks'. Readers wanting a jaunt into the world of British bankers will enjoy fun quips such as, "It is a well established fact that you can never find a weapon of mass destruction when you need one. Ask Tony Blair." More hilarity ensues as bank robbers are let loose and Sean is left to fumble about as he takes the reins, but will he ever catch the eye of the stunning co-worker, Rachel? "A Bunch of Bankers" is a great sit-down read and a good escape worth taking. You'll enjoy every minute.
