Smashwords Interview

What's the story behind your latest book?
Simply put, Podemus Strump is a story of survival against the odds.
There will be five books in total, each one advancing the reader to places I'm certain will surprise and entertain.
Podemus Strump began it's life back in 1998 as a clutch of handwritten notes and the idea that I might write a narative poem, it's been a long bumpy road since then but the enthusiasm was always there. Pod and I are old friends, and think it's about time you got to meet him.
What is your writing process?
I come from a film production background so the so the first thing I tend do when drafting a story is to write the dialogue and format the text along the lines of a film script; I need to hear my characters speak before I immersed them in the narrative, this prevents redundancy and ensures that each character works hard for their place in my novel.
